School System:
Fund to pay salary for teachers: $45.00 USD per teacher monthly.
Textbooks, exercise books and stationery per year: $700
Furniture:
School bus ($7,500 USD): to pick up children from far villages along the Volta River who fish instead of school so that they can benefit from our school.
The sustainability is that the bus will work twice in a week (Tuesday and Fridays) which is the local market here after picking up the children and gain some money for fuel, maintenance and even save some money to support the foundation.
An additional classroom: Our classroom set is yet to get completed according to the standard rules of Ghana Education Service. For this reason we need one additional classroom to have a complete school according to that standard. A classroom set with furniture will cost us
$15,000 USD.
Disability Aid:
Wheelchair $160.00
Our new disability Centre need funds for startup:
Project Construction cost $75,000 USD
Furniture and equipment: $50,000 USD
For Children who stay in the school.
$350 for that set (doubled)
We keep some children from far villages who could not access education in the school. These are the children going to use the bank beds. Your donation will go a long way.
